What types of projects do you work on?
In short, we work on top-to-bottom transformations. This includes decorating and furnishing whole homes, multiple rooms, or a single large room with color palettes, wallpaper or custom millwork, fixtures and furniture, art and accessories, and more.
We also work on custom homes, collaborating with our clients' architects and builders to plan the home's layout and select materials and furnishings prior to construction. If you're interested in our involvement, please reach out as early in the process as possible.
When is the best time to involve us in your project?
Early is always better. Even if your project won't start for several months, contacting us early will ensure that you have more information - so you can plan wisely - and allows us to have more impact on the way your home looks, feels, and functions. You can book a complimentary Design Discovery Zoom call with Debbi here.

What trades do we work with during your project?
We love collaboration! We have a vast network of specialists and trades located throughout the U.S. We will choose the best trades for you according to the scope of your project and its location. Examples of trades with whom we work include: painters, wallpaper installers, carpenters, custom window treatment fabricators, lighting installers, and more.Β
If you are building a new home, we are also happy to collaborate with your architect and builder during the planning process.

What locations do we serve?
We serve clients nationally and have designed homes across Northern Virginia, the Maryland coast, New York City, the Delaware Beaches, the Midwest, and as far south as Sanibel Island in Florida. We have 15+ years of experience and are happy to come to you, as needed. You can book a complimentary Design Discovery Zoom call with Debbi here to discuss your project and location.

Do you need to be present during your design project?
You do not need to present during your design project, and in fact, most of our clients aren't! A large number of our clients have multiple homes and prefer to reside in alternate locations while their project is underway. We will be sure to discuss your project's timeline together so that you can choose the best solution for you.
How would we describe our style?
We are rare in our design philosophy - we let our clients set the vision for their own homes. We are your guide and translator, taking your vision, elevating it, and bringing it to life. As such, our portfolio rarely adheres to one style. Instead, each project is an original composition, reflecting our client's identity, lifestyle, and a spark of the unexpected. We know you'll love it… because it's inspired by you.
How long can you expect your project to take?
Your project's timeline will depend on its scope and complexity of the design. We will be sure to outline scope clearly during our preliminary conversations and refine it further as each phase progresses. If you have a special occasion or other time-sensitive event that we need to be aware of, please let us know as soon as possible.
Do you need to purchase your furnishings through us?
Yes, and this is one of many key advantages to working with a designer! We have spent the last 15+ years vetting an exclusive network of vendors and suppliers who set the industry standards for quality, customization, innovation, and service. Procurement is also a very time-consuming process. Our service allows you to maintain your usual lifestyle while we handle the fine details.

What is the first step to working together?
The first step is to book your complimentary Zoom discovery call with Debbi here. This will give you an opportunity to discuss your project in more depth, learn more about our process, and see if there is a mutual fit. If so, we will move ahead to your Initial Consultation, which is part of our Exploration Phase. You can view our entire design process here.
